A message from Hannah

Life is a beautifully multifaceted experience.
Each day, season, and year arrives with its own opportunities, challenges, realizations, affirmations, emotions, colors, sights, and sounds. When we begin to truly attune our presence to our immediate reality—the place we live, the wild spaces and creatures around us, and the unique energetics of each season—we open ourselves to the full depth of the human experience. The sweetness of life, the ability to sense magic in ordinary moments, comes from living in rhythm with the natural ebb and flow of it all.

This session of Sea & Soil is a unique and nourishing opportunity to fully embrace this moment in the seasonal cycle—the turning of the wheel, the arrival of summer, and the beauty and pulse of San Luis Obispo’s northern coastline. During this day-long journey, I’ll weave together my studies and practices in bioregional herbalism, somatic movement, nature connection, and traditional medicine to help guide us into a meaningful and joyful start to summer. These are the very paths and practices that support me in my own life, and I hope they will offer you the same nourishment and inspiration.”

A message from Felise

“How do we transform our relationship with the material world? How do we begin to weave ourselves in deeper connection with the objects we use, the community around us and the land beneath our feet? Natural dye is a doorway to a more intentional  relationship with nature and material. It’s a practice of bridging the sacred to the mundane. It’s a journey of learning how to be in conversation with nature, learning how to listen, ask permission, give thanks and create something deeply meaningful to us from seemingly insignificant objects. Join me as we explore bioregional fiber, thrifted fabrics and the colors of California.”
